Berlin. Germany.

Berlin was such an enjoyable city to visit. It was really the history
that did it for me. It's really quite intense seeing some of the sites
around there and constantly being reminded of the war and what
happened there. The craziest feeling which I can't really describe was
when we were on this free tour thing and we were standing on the
random grass path next to a parking lot for some appartment buildings.
We were standing less the 10 meters from where Hitler killed himself.
It was really quite chilling. Like you could still feel the evil
there. But yea we travelled all over the city an got a great feel for
it. We also got a pleasant surprise when my friend, Kevin Tkatchuk,
from highschool saw my facebook status and let me know that he was now
in Berlin working at the US embassy. So we got to see him and get a
quick tour of the non confidential area of the embassy. Pretty cool
experience. Also met this guy at or hostel named Phil from Quebec.
Chilled with him a bit and then traveled to Prague with him. He also
informed us of the radiohead concert so we got tickets and made plans
to meet up again in Prague. But ummm yea I'm pretty tired and need to
sleep so that's all for now. Peaceeeee.
