We made great time coming from south Dakota and got into Denver around 8. Making their guest appearances at this stop were my brother Ricky, Sarah Robbins, Dave Baesl (he actually went to college in Canada, who does that?) Chase Oliver, Andy Baker, Jimmie Caldrer, Rich Neal, and a bunch of others. As we got out the car my bro called me and since he didn’t see me looking at him through the window I told him that we had a flat tire and were going to be pretty late, then we just walked in. And what we walked into was pretty much a party. The party was being thrown for Andy Baker who shipped out for OCS to join the marines this Thursday. We wish you the best of luck bro. But yea so had some good times, played some beer pong, my brother and I won when it really mattered in which in true Ricky form, after sinking last cup he knocked everything off the table with one barry bonds swing of a ski pole. My bro also asked for another beer on his head which I very reluctantly obliged to doing, see the video in the previous post, upon hearing this Jimmie decided that he wanted in so we got him involved to as Matt took his head. After a little more hanging out we decided it was time to head to the bars? Yea that was a great idea. We had our fun there and then headed home but not before stopping at mcdonalds so jimmie could work his sales man magic to get everyone in the car free food. Luckily I passed out in what is becoming my normal spot at the top of my brother’s living room stairs before I ate any of it.
The next day we hopped on the mopeds and toured the city. We went to a whiskey distillery called stranahans Colorado whiskey, we would both recommend people to try this, it was really good. Tried to stop at the flying dog brewery but they’ve since moved so I just stole an awesome flag off the wall instead. Got lunch at the rock bottom brewery and then went to the Great divide brewing co. for a tour. Got a cool tour there and sampled some great beers, go buy the Hades beer by great divide. You won’t regret it. We met some pretty cool people during those stops. Then we toured the city a bit more and checked out the museum of contemporary art. It was different but def interesting. After that long day we headed home, got dinner out, and went to bed.
The next morning we got up early and headed for salt lake.
